Dr. Randall Kincaid
Dr. Randall Kincaid received both his undergraduate (B.S. in biology) and graduate degrees (Ph.D. in pharmacology) from Stanford University .
In 1982, Dr. Kincaid was granted a tenured faculty position at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and in 1987 he became the Chief of the Immunology Section in the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. In 1993, he became the Director of Cell Biology at Human Genome Sciences and initiated a research program on newly discovered human genes expressed in early hematopoietic development that might be targets for drug development.
In 1995, Dr. Kincaid founded and directed Veritas, Inc., a biotechnology consulting company.
Under his direction, Veritas, Inc. developed numerous collaborative relationships in support of biodefense and infectious disease research, including experimental programs on botulinum toxin, C. difficile, and malarial vaccine development. Dr. Kincaid left Veritas, Inc. in early 2009 to join TMT as its Scientific Director.
